I'm sure the people that watched it unfold in person had a better perspective than I did. Like I said before the important thing is everyone is ok.

This is why I wanted to race COPO's or similar cars with the K/SA I was driving. They had to get off the line in the heat with the slick tracks. We knew what they could run, I wasn't worried, we couldn't spin unless we were in water!
When I ran Barton at the Dutch Classic and looked at his 7.99 dial I was trying to hit the tree decently and dialed safely knowing he wasn't going to lift for any reason. To go -.002 red really pissed me off, and then to have him blow the tires off just put salt in the wound! |
