Kevin, it would also be neat in the story for you to compare each decade on it's own merit.

My Stocker may not be the most valuable or well known class car, but in the rarity category it may be the number 1 qualifier. It was originally a 1971 Pontiac T-37, 2 door post, 455 HO car. There were only 11 of these built in the U.S. of which 4 were automatics and 7 stick shifts. Pontiac didn't publish how many of the 7 stick cars were 4-speeds and how many were 3-speeds. Mine was a 3-speed. I contacted an expert on T-37's and he said even though we will never know for sure he said he felt comfortable saying it could be a 1 of 3 and a possible 1 of 1. For sure it's a 1 of 7. I purchased the car from Bob Howe and it was owned at one time by Rock Running. I would like to talk to Mr. Running to get some history on it as I believe he originally built it. The 455 HO engine came with round port heads, an aluminum intake, and a very rare 828 cfm single booster Quadrajet carburetor. If I can get motivated, hopefully the car will be back on the track in 2014. And no, it won't be a stick car. LOL!

Dad has an original 1965 Belvedere. It's not been raced for about 5 years but is ready to run if someone wants to buy it (hint, hint!)

Certainly a lot of worthyl cars already mentioned here! I'll repeat Larry Jewell's vette and Helm's 3x championship winning Camaro and for giggles I'll add (I haven't seen any Buicks on the list) the Buick Apollo that Lee Zane drove to a Championship with in 2004 and won the 49th and 50th Indy!!

The Ewing brothers '69 Camaro SS/JA is a real Z-28. If I recall correctly older brother Kenny bought it new when he worked at GM and made it into a stocker soon afterwards. Not sure when it became a super stocker. I'm pretty sure that is close to what kenny told me 4 years ago or so.
