Dempsey, that was a pretty rash comeback to someone saying that you should be torn down. I don't know if that is true, but one thing that I do know is that in 2006, you had a solid 9 under race car. Either you decided to put your foot all the way down this year or got some new horsepower. I am going to go with the logical choice and say that you probably got a new piece. Whether its legal or not, thats for NHRA and/or someone with $1,000 to decide.

Its simple...you out run a cajun that has more money/ego then sense, and your gettin tore down...tear down, take the money (if your legal) and be done. Now on the other hand the guy who allowed the tear down to take place should be fired.

The car that was torn down was illegal. Correct me if I am wrong. Any illegal car can usually outrun any legal car.

What about Faulk... Passed and beat you...theres is a pattern, you loose a heads up someone gets tore down...when you sending a check out west to tear down Mcallahan. And its good that they stuck to the weight rule and tossed the guy but the tear down should have never happend

What if the protested car had of won the entire event then been found illegal? Would you be happy then Stockracer?

The guy who allowed the tear down to take place probably figured anyone could pull a piston/rod and have the car running in less than 5 hours. Country Dog can do it, Amy and Kenny Faulk can too. Maybe the guy who allowed the tear down should be given a raise. I'd say he looks pretty smart right now in the eyes of his boss.

Just how much is it to get a Piston-Rod pulled out under protest!

I believe Todd at Platinum Engine Service had strong connections with Lingenfelter and worked for Larry Morgan at one time. I took a Comp engine to Todd for a guy in Ga. and he seemed on the up and up to me.
