This is so sad. Hank and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Just a thought @ indy points meet they had an extra time run for everyone $10 for the run, the money went to Bob Hessers family. They announced that they had raised $12.500.00 for his family. I know from personal experience that funerals are very expensive. Again just a thought. Joe

IHRA events won't be the same without Shirley. We always looked forward to talking with her. She was a great person.

We have all lost a super nice lady. No matter what it was Shirley would help the racers. When I won Mooresville in 2005 she gave me my winners pack and her and Hank were so nice to me. I hate this for Hank because he lost his best friend. My prayers are with their family. Mike

Any service information yet? I will try to call Hank this evening but I imagine his phone is pretty busy right about now.

I've already had a couple of requests from people to do some kind of memoriam decal for Shirley. I'll see what I can put together later this week, and we can give all the proceeds to Hank.

I was shocked to hear the terrible news. My thoughts and prayers go with Hank and Shirley.

What a shock...I am saddened for Hank as I know this hurts deeply. Shirley and I had a nice talk Sunday afternoon as she gave me my Summit and round money checks. I remember her giving us a cookie at payout on occasion, what a special person she was. As a matter of fact, it was partly due to her encouragement that I decided to let Logan run jr. dragster at divisionals this season. You're in our thoughts and prayers Hank.
