I think I sent the ideas I had to Bobby Fazio. Pretty sure he has the emails now.

Is anyone voicing their concerns to their SRAC representatives?
Getting away from promoting classes where performance really does matter is not the direction to go. There are and always will be complainers & critics but at the end of the day the appeal of the heads-up runs, class eliminations and setting records is what matters to so many of us. Teardowns are part of it and the way to show everyone that you are not just legal, that taking it apart is no problem. I remember racers bragging about how fast they could get it done. S&SS Class racers have always been the Big Dogs, those who don't like it can just stay on the porch. The record breakers section in National Dragster was always where everyone looked to see who was running with the Big Dogs. |
