Rockingham Div. and Open race grade points

Ok can someone help me out here, i know Rich is at Reynolds race this week, So the Rockingham Div race in Oct. is Fri. and Sat. and the Open is on Sun. Ok what i need to know is that if you will get 2 grade point, for both race, 1 is a Lucas Oil race and 1 is a none sponsored race, so ya should get a grade point. Rich is trying to help racers, 2 races 1 road trip. I have heard you will only get 1 grade point for both races, not worth it $160 and race for $1000, I know at lease 7 cars will leave on Sunday, Now the next weekend at Mooresville is a deal, open race Fri and Sat and a CCRA race on Sunday, i will get a payout sheet, i know if 30 cars it will pay more then the open. I will try to get with Rich and fine out more info on the grade points.

Brian from my understanding you should get two grade points for the Rockingham deal. It’s two races one Lucas and one open. Youbget grade points for opens like mooresville so it should be no different. I’ll see if I can find out for sure and let you know.

I talked to Rich about this last week, he told me as of now you will only get one grade point. He is working on trying to make it that you can get two. If that happens D-2 will post it.

What Denny said is correct. NHRA has some kind of BS rule that a driver can only get 1 point unless it was 2 Lucas races. Rich has been working to get this changed for several weeks.
