Ed, That was on the 255 hp, 441 head model.
We're talking about the 350 /300.
Never a question on the hoods for them. The Indy Pace Car was a 350 / 300 base, with cowl hood.

In all do respect to Jimmy and Austin, I say nice job An id love to see that race, this is what our sport is about. Lifting at a 1000’ is no fun. Run them like there supposed to be ran in a heads up situation.

Horsepower adjustments following the LODRS Division 4 event in Houston, TX
4/17/2018

The horsepower rating for 1970 Chevrplet Camaro, entries with the 350 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 300 currently rated at 296, has been decreased by ten horsepower, to 286 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator. These changes are effective April 17, 2018.

David read my earlier post! The 70 model can't use the 184 intake therefore the specs in the guide are different and doesn't warrant an increase!

Based on previous information that points toward the basis of how these decisions are now made, the 1970 Camaro does not use the 184 intake manifold. Seems almost like a personal factor, like a Comp eliminator competitor CIC. Or the 1979 Malibu 2-door coupe 305-160hp.
