From the pictures the heads look like camel humps.

The early double hump heads do not have accessory holes or those flat areas. After 1969 they do. Don’t know the correct casting number but it’s pretty easy to get that info and check the heads. Intake definately should be the hi rise GM aluminum. Jerry McNeish is the man to talk to about the authenticity of that car.

Correct casting numbers for the heads will probably be 186 or 041. Possibly 414, as there are some claims they were used in production, though historical evidence says they were produced a few years later as replacement castings.

Mick Alley from Boise, Idaho raced a 70 1/2 in stock eliminator a few years ago.
It was a fast car.

Jerry Mc Nish is at www.camarohiperf.coom. he is the most knowageable Camaro exoert
there is, and is a very nice guy.

You might want to check with the Emmons boys in Pasadena,Texas.
They own Emmons Motor Co..
