Came across this Saginaw 4 Speed with 2 rings on 3.11 2.20 1.47 1.00 gears. OK what about that 2.5 Iron Duke TBI with these gears plus how about a 8.2 10 Bolt with 5:13 or 5:38.
This will go into that 85 Camaro. How much power could this engine make, RPM's ect. W/S Stick "Dime Rocket" http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-SAGINAW-4...85fd35&vxp=mtr |

OK found out a 3 ring Saginaw came with 3.50 First! Maybe that would work with a 4:56 mini spool 7.5 rear. Small Diameter tire.
Will Lamprecht Have other things too do but this is fun. |

Saginaw 3 Speed! Why not? Cheaper lighter rotational weight of 4 Speed. I have one somewhere.

The iron duke 4 cylinder was also available in the Camaro from 1982 to 1984 also. Back in '89 I bought a '82 Camaro with a 4 cylinder 4 speed. I had a buddy that had a '83 4 cylinder 4 speed that ran 18.60's bone stock. My little V6 automatic that came in the Camaro that I race now wouldn't even go that quick bone stock.

Thanks for posting this. I will probably resurrect my thread on my 67 El Camino. I still have it, just haven't had any extra money to spend on it.
I've been looking for a 4 cylinder Camaro or Firebird for a while, too.
