This started as a thread to explain the new changes involving online entries, withdrawls, etc. But the IHRA guys have chimed in and turned the thread into a "why not come race with us???" We know your there, we just don't want to. Just like I don't like crate motored stockers, and don't care to understand why you have SS/PZA2D2. Its not that I have anything at all against IHRA, but I will stick it out where I am at. You go ahead and support your league that loves you, and I will continue to get "enhanced" by mine.

I greatly appreciate your honesty, Chad. I've seen plenty of the "If you change this, we'd race with you." type deals, and if it gets changed, those people just find other excuses for not supporting the races. But for those with an open mind, the door's always open... y'all are more than welcome to join the fun.

Sorry, but no NHRA stock or superstock racer wants Joe weekly bracket racer showing up with his bracket car and running an IHRA national event in stock or superstock, which currently they can do.
Point of information: No, they can't.

Back on topic... I got into Indy with a Grade 1. Was NHRA offended that I gave them money?

why all the hate for the bracket racers? seems to me racing the bracket programs is a good way to stay sharp and get more seat time. god bless the bracket racers!!!! wish ihra was out here on the left coast, seems like it would be interesting to race their series.

Gents,

Beard makes a good point about racing IHRA. You gotta' get over this "I won't race against crate motored stockers or Super Stock PBXYZ thing." At the end of the day it's a dial in type bracket race!

It seems rather odd, from what's happening with the economy and the poor car counts at NHRA national events in 2008, you would think NHRA would want to make it easier and allow more racers to attend NHRA races. BUT no, they just keep pouring on the BS. Appears the little driver change fiasco which happened in SS at the World Finals bit them in the a**.

NHRA should take a few lessons from Rich Christenson and his Pink's deal."Come on and Let's Race!"

His deal is packing them in as is the no holds barred ADRL.

NHRA, when are you going to wake up?

To set the record straight! I posted a question on the driver change in Pomona because we were told at another race that we could not do a driver change unless medical or family emergency period! I was wondering why then it was allowed to be done there. Jim did not call NHRA at all! He sucked it up as they do what they want when they want and there is nothing we can do about it.
