FYI, Loose is as in your shoe string is loose, lose is as in you lose a race (or a tire). So technically its Losing a tire during launch But technically it did come loose from the rim

I get confused myself - had to ask Scott the other day when to use sale or sell and brought or bought. Another thing I've noticed - a lot of people get their symbols in the wrong place - they'll do this..... was'nt instead of the correct way of wasn't.

Anyhoo, Lose and Loose seem to be the most common thing I see racers misspelling - for obvious reasons.

I just point it out so noone ends up carrying this error from a message board over to the DMV....

....true story...
