I think he also used to race a 1970 1/2 Camaro that was once featured in a Car Craft or Super Chevy magazine back in the mid 1980's.

Tim H....you are correct with respect to the 70 1/2 Camaro....I can't comfirm magazine article(s), but I vaguely remember that occurring too!!!

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe he is a former D3 champ having won the bracket finals in sportsman or pro eliminator with the same car back in the late 80's or early 90's!!!!

Tough break for a TOUGH competitor!!!!!!! We'll MISS him!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that, condolences to the family...........its been a rough year..................glad to see the season coming to an end.......

Dale was a good friend , and a good racer! He always stopped at our house to see how we were doing. Dale and my wife grew up together. ( Like a big brother to her ) We will miss you around the house and the race tracks. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. Mitch & Xenia Sowers
