The man said high dollar Stock and Super Stock races. Don't believe they have much to do with buy backs.
There is at least one $1,000.00 race for the big dawgs. A couple of those each year would be fun to watch. Heads up racing and tear down for the final pair. But the entries would probably drop to about 12 - 16 per race.

Piedmont Dragway can and will offer a race like this next year. It will be pre entry and must get a min number of entries. I will do it on a pro rated up purse after the min is met. The more cars the more money with a guarantee. The question is how much to I charge.
I say 300 for 2 races, one Saturday on Sunday, I can do this race the first week of April 2009. If we get 50 cars the purse would be 7500 per race. 3000 win 1500 ru 500 semi 2501/4 125 1/8 Better than a divisional....if we have 100 cars you double that... |
