The D.A. isn't the whole story. I've raced in 3600' of air plenty of times, and I've never experienced air that slow. The barometer tells the tale. We saw it at Bowling Green the week before as well, when the barometer tanked but the D.A. and correction factors looked like they hadn't hardly changed, and I saw people miss the dial by anywhere from .06 to well over a tenth. It was pretty eye-opening!

You can see how the air has come around, as the Pro Stockers have picked up 2 mph! Pretty wild.

Anyone know what the deal was with the exhaust port in the 396 head? Nothing to compare it to? Anyone else need there lawn mowed in cali? You know who to call right? For the record air at Mir my last pass was 2900 feet went 97 mph in the 1/8 guess what today at darlington it was 3500 foot and went 97 again in the 1/8. Explain that.
