Does it seem as if everyone is holding back or is it just slow? Right now the 429 Mustang is looking as if it will put up a good fight for the class honors. He's my Dark Horse but my favorite is that 350 Red Chevy Cavalier. Are they running two rounds of quals today?

The conditions look pretty bad. The barometer is low. I dont think anyone is holding back. None of the GTAA cars are anywhere near the trigger. Should be pretty interesting for class eliminations.

Concerning Stock, there are many that are giving their best shot to get into the field, but there are still quite a few people holding back at this point, due to class eliminations coming up tomorrow and guys not wanting to "show their hand". The dead giveaway is by simply watching the bump spot. After the first run, it was -.835 in just over 2500' of air, yet it jumped up to -.879 with the air over 3200'. Tomorrow morning will be "do or die" for many near the bump spot and the bump will surely go well over -.925 with the cool morning air. Good luck to all!

Brian Merkle broke during C/SA.
We won first round class and have hopefully qualified during second pass on fresh car with a 10.29. |

Sounds like that Pink car is running pretty good. There may be an increase in pink cars in the future.
