The combo has to be in the class guide to run super stock. For example a 58 Pontiac could not run super stock because it is not in the class guide.

They do not recogonize a powerglide in a 61 Chevy with a 348 250h.p. or a 280h.p. But they do recogonize it being with the 348 305h.p. They make no sense.

my TRANSMISSION MAN - Thomas Arnett already has me a piece ready and MJ has a few convertors IF we decide to try it. jack mccarthy p.s. bruce 4470# U/SA scale weight / low 300 hp - peaks at 6770rpm with my little carb and the LEGIT intake because, of course, i am the only 283 which does not get the bogus 459 AFB intake (sux) and by the way the scale says ouch

Jack,
I have a couple of two barrel converters set for 325 hp at 3,500 pounds. Probably won't work but give a shout if this thing comes together for ya.
