Looks like car counts are up slightly from the first pro-am.
I realize the main reason for the bump in td and ts competition is because of the PDRA race next week. Plenty of people decided to hit this race too. But seems to be up across the board, love to see it. Still a long way to go to get to NHRA participation levels, but trending in the right direction.

I know everyone wants to say the NHRA vs IHRA thing but I think IHRA also needs to look into the local associations also, when IHRA dropped the Pro Am deal many years back A LOT of racers were very mad and found new homes with the local Mid Atlantic Series, Buckeye, Great Lakes, ASRA, CCRA series and realized that these series might not have all the pomp and glitter but they are a fun time and run by racers, so it's going to take time for these racers to test the water to come play if they have a race on top of each other. The best thing I can say is try to get the 2026 schedule out ASAP because I know when I'm waiting on a NHRA Div / NE schedule in Mid-November a lot of tracks have 85% of their schedules completed so you're picking from the scraps and here in the NE with Atco & Etown gone and some tracks charging a rental that you need to put your first born up for sale to get a date, it's the main reason we had to expand from just Super Gas & Super Comp, my long time members have been voicing their "Not Happy" voices about us adding TS, TD, Juniors and Stock / SS but only way we can get a date is bring more cars but some still live in 1990 with the costs.

Has IHRA established any kind of tech yet for the class cars? And if so, to what level? Do they have heads ups during Eliminations? I know there are officials from NHRA that have become consultants for IHRA, just wondering at this point if it is running like an association race with a high payout?
