Two questions need to be answered to properly classify your car. A) is it a
6 or 9 passenger wagon, and B) are you going to run the 383/305 HP combo, or are you going to run the 383/330 HP motor? J.R. |

I believe its a 6 passenger wagon, I want to run the 383 with the 4bbl. I think that would be the 330 hp?

Your weight factor is 12.23 so it's a natural I car and you can run H I or J, the NHRA rated HP is 292 for the four barrel. Other than the very small AFB and lack of V to P clearance it's a pretty good package and the wagon has a 116 wheelbase where as the non wagon is 119.

It's an uphill battle but don't forget about the expensive aftermarket aluminum heads rated at 285 hp.

Thanks to all that posted! I think I got it figured out now. I see where I/SA is a good fit as I been told, 383-4-bbl combo. 3640 lbs. Thanks to all again!
