Any SRAC representative care to make the call for clarification?

I keep on top of the topics that our SRAC reps discuss and never heard this one! So why even have the SRAC if NHRA doesn?t listen to them on issues the racers have and just institute whatever rules they want to? Why waste an SRAC reps time?

The SRAC has had little success over its life so far. It is good that we have some sort of representation for the sportsman categories.

Bryan, I was on General Motors Dealer Counsel. It started out as a great
idea to get the dealer's opinions on different topics and concerns that either GM or the dealers had on the areas that mutually concerned them. We had to travel to Detroit for meetings, and it was 3 to 4 days out of your week, so you certainly wanted to accomplish something of benefit for your involvement. I can say that it aligns exactly like SRAC. Very few of the dealers ideas were used, and in most cases decisions had been made before we even arrived at the meetings. They were meant to be make us feel important, and involved in the decisions that may shape our future. It was just a ruse to appease us, and if a dealer asked GM a tough question, they would tell them to contact their dealer counsel rep. A waste of everyone's time. J.R. |

Our local NHRA track goes by a better reaction time in the previous round.
Who ever had a better reaction in the prior round gets the lane choice. |
