Congrats to Beard and The Wilson's, and all the others who showed up and lit W's!

It was great to see Dad's ole Wagon in the Winner's Circle. That is an awsome car. See ya'll at Piedmont!

Nice job to both the Wilson's and the Duck. Father Time, take care of yourself and hope to see you soon. Hey Duck, please give me a call @ 304-522-3036 when you get a chance. Thanks, Mike

Good job to you too Tracy, and great job on thrashing a starter on the car in short order!

Told you that Vette runs 5.71 every single time we race! (Yikes!) My buddies there thought I took about 6 car lengths, and it looked like it to me inside the car, too. I ran the numbers, and it was only .025! That car is one bad unit... hauls butt! I heard somebody ask you in the lanes if that was a different motor to run SS/AM, but I didn't overhear the answer. New pieces, or just new vinyl?

Yes Michael, it's a different motor that we are just easing into so to speak. It should be a little quicker at Piedmont as this was our very first weekend running it. As a matter of fact I was working on it in my garage until about 8:30 Friday night trying to get it ready, so the combo race was our test session on this combination. Two great weekends in a row for you...congrats again!

Tell me more, and I'll try to get it in the race coverage. I like being able to add those kind of tidbits. Post here, or just e-mail me at beard@staginglight.com.

Oh, I forgot to thank Michael Beard and Scott Macy for all of their input on "TRYING" to get everything straightened out with me/the car (LOL!) this weekend. We ordered a new converter today and hopefully we can get it in by Piedmont. We think that was causing the pushing (the gear tightened it up quite a bit). Thanks, you guys are great.
