Re: Nhra
Its tough when the weather is not cooperative. They had plenty of rain on Saturday and Sunday. Not much time to prep the track to keep on schedule for the TV coverage. I ran my Qualifying runs and first round on Thursday and Friday. The track was perfect for my car. Ran excellent 60 and 330 ft times and consistent. Granted I was not running Top Fuel. Just a side note. TAFC record was broken as well as the Pro Stock record so the track was there until the weather turned wet. Just take a look at the starting line when the pros roll up there literally 20-30 crew people walking around on the racing surface with muddy shoes. I noticed the tractors that drag and sweep the track did not have the NHRA or Mission Foods logo on them. Possibly NHRA has gone to a sub contractor for track prep?
