The best effort I've seen promoting the Alky classes in D1 was years ago at Epping. Saturday "show", that also included, TS, TD, and wheelie trucks. The stands were full.

Astute observation great one. The reason Saturday nights at Epping are such a success is the demographic. Auto racing is an important form of entertainment in that region plus more importantly there is not a wide ranging choice of entertainment. The club that owns the facility knows this does the marketing and reaps the reward. I thought this was obvious...... ..II..
