Yeah, Vegas, Pintos, Gremlins, Monzas and Mustang IIs were pretty horrible. But in the 70s and 80s they were what we had that were light and plentiful. They served their purpose until the 3rd gen Camaros and Fox-body Mustangs came out.

A teenager a stout small block and a Vega street car you either had some driving skills or probably ended up dead. What a horrible street car but man what a blast.

You think a fox body with light *** and a v8 with a 4bbl and a manual was any safer?? Had 83gt two weeks to the day and endo'd 7 times in snow!That was 40 years ago, now it's a '79 U/SA! lol!!

I apologize for the high jack. I know from experience that the wipers on a 55 Chevy will lay out on the hood at around 120 MPH.
