Just encase someone is interested. Over on another forum we have a long thread going about the cam shootout. I don't have any of the newer sims. I do have the older Desktop Dyno2003. After I selection / guessed at what I believed the cam should be (I posted those specs on that forum before the contest) I did a sim in Desktop Dyno2003. That is the right hand one in this picture. I later changed my cam specs to the Erson Cam DR specs. That is the center chart. On the left is what I have, which is only part of the Erson Dyno sheet.

Stan go to www.powellcams.com on you tube powell machine inc, he participated in the cam challenge. He gets into great detail about camshafts, learned alot from his videos, realized that I was off on several of my cams, never buy a cam off the shelf!

This graph shows the general shape of 4 Intake lobes, which were generated from their Cam DR reports. The lobes are basically centered so it doesn't reflect where valve events are relative to the other cams shown.

Remember the result of what I generate, are only as good as the data and the number of data points that the cam reports have.
These are for the BTR #1, Daniel Powell #1 and Daniel Powell #2. Stan |

How did each of the cams that were tested with the different heads, intake manifold, headers, and increased CR do?
