***Is there any chance at all that a moderator can possibly please move this posting in its entirety over to my Compulink Sure Start thread please, I would like to first add to it there (leave it as is) as I wrote it, and i will ust add new info on how it appears to have been resolved, and new info to it about why I wrote it like I did on a Tuesday night post race, and where that leaves us all as racers. It didn't even happen to me, but a fellow "in class competitor at the time, but it also highly affected me personally, while I watched from the ready line. Put our D.D., in a really tough decision on the fly making position, and if it can happen to us, it has probably happened to a few of you over the last 15 years, or happen again to any of us at anytime in the future again. The resolution is simple, realize through data and evidence a problem exists. Take simple action to get it fixed. Force the.fix if necessary, don't ignore the existing issue, answer the questions. And do it publicly. Lastly, I am a resolve the flaws kind of guy, not crying or whining over spilled milk. See something, say something screw the possible repercussions, let's just fix it for the future. The NHRA rules are golden in my heart, at least we have a published ruleset, if it is flawed, it is fully understandable, but if a part is known to be, or discovered to be in conflict (and in this case just evolved for the better through the addition of evolving technology), but an antiquated ruleset section was left unchanged, and did not catch up by simple oversight...easily done btw, ...Fix it and move on. Ignoring a flaw exists does not make it go away. Ty in advance to a moderator who may accomplish the task easier than my retyping it there. I appreciate you.

Favor to ask ?
First time out in two years with my red 71 Demon. I did make three T&Ts on Wednesday, but broke the rear on Q1 Thursday in Stock. If anyone has a picture / video of my car and would share with me, I would be grateful? Larry Robbins 5706 D/SA 970-985-1376 |
