We use this one but had to buy a bigger drop for the shank. We pull with a 2023 3500 Duramax Dually & have a 34' Vintage bathroom package trailer.
Make sure you have your set-up according to the instructions & it covers your trailer tongue/gross weight. https://proshop.summitracing.com/parts/CHT-17501 |

A Reese "Dual Cam" sway control with a Reese weight distribution hitch to match your tow vehicle and trailer weight is a Very Good system to use when towing enclosed trailers.

Whatever you are using make sure the ball is rated higher than what you are towing. I see guys with a class 5 hitch then put a class 3 ball mount and ball in it.
You can get 7500lb 2 5/16" balls or 25,000lb. I only tow 6800lbs but have a forged ball mount that is rated at 17,000lbs and a 20,000lb rated ball. Be safe out there. |
