I believe Miramichi is typically faster, at least on one of the days. This year, the Friday Miramichi race was a tenth slower than the Saturday race. The Saturday race appeared to be about 0.06-0.08 faster than Napierville's fastest day.
For a long time, the races have been back to back. This coming year, the Miramichi race is pushed ahead one week, so I'm not sure what air they historically have at that time. The past two years, our local series had a race in Miramichi during the second weekend of August, and I found it to be a bit quicker than the Open. So it could be decent, but it could be hot and humid. Jeremy |

Typically,
Miramichi Dragway: near 108 ft above sea level and a lot more % of oxygen in a pound of air caused by the atlantic ocean proximity. Napierville Dragway: near 180 ft above sea level with less % of oxygen in a pound of air caused by a more polluted area. (Montreal region) |
