Mike DePalma told me that the Nova he has run on and off for the last several years is the old Tores and Bosz car.

It seems to me that Mike DePalma ran a hardtop car. The one that Dan Cyr has now .Came out of Txas ,I believe.

They had some IHRA races in this area about then. I took what weight I could (Not near enough, still about 80 lbs heavy) out of my NHRA C/SM Camaro to try to run with them. I could run with all of them that came back to this area but Smith. Royce Freeman (Sr) added weight to his B/SM car to run those races also. Heads up is fun.

Bob, The chevy II was sold locally here in Ilinois to to a racer by the name of Bolen who bracket raceed it at the local tracks, Terre Haute, IN. And Charleston ,Il., not sure were it went after that but i can find out., From my buddy at VP fuel, he ran the CHARLESTON IL. track and was friends with him. That car terrorized the local tracks here locally for years whan the Wilkin,s owned it. I reamember one year down at Bowling Green when they left with it it popped the windshield clear out of it once !!!!!! dennis
