John, some people on here have NEVER had a business or ran a business, put a lien or borrowed against their house to make payroll. Or had workers comp, social security, health insurance, retirement, pregnancy leave, vacations, union bull s-it etc to pay for. Payroll taxes or faced bankruptcy . So people on here blame business for everything because they are idealistic and think business is run like the government...... How about blaming the million un-Americans instead of the business. How about blaming the un-Americans for the billions$ drugs brought into our country. "No drugs available, no drug problem"... John, you see that I disagree with many on here.

Owned a labor law compliance consulting business for 5 years, you know anything about Davis-Bacon, Prevailing Wage Laws, 14B of the Taft-Hartley Act, ever worked a certified payroll of a non-union company working on a Public Works Project and recovered back wages? Don't be so naive to believe at all businessman are honest, because they are not. I am not talking about the little guy but the multi-million dollar companies that think screwing their employees in a sport. We have a mental health and drug addiction issue in the country if there was no need there would be no drug issue. By the way, what was the formula for Coca-Cola when the company first started?? Now that is the way to get a customer base!

Ed, what makes you think I was talking about you?

Your reference of cocaine in Coca-Cola....cocaine was legally purchased at every drug store in the late 1800s and 1900s. I am old but I wasn't there.

32 million people use drugs in this country, that is 11.7%. In the 70s it was heroin, in the 80s it was Coke, in the 90s it was meth, then big Pharma gets involved with opioids, and now we have Fentanyl. What a business opportunity, makes you want to hook up with your ole chemistry teacher.

EDDIE ! You forgot Quaaludes (714's). Regan outlawed them because they were in every bar in America. This is the drug OJ Simpson gave to women to get their pants off. In our town, more women were on them than men. LOL. Golly what a screwfest. This band played bout every weekend in the local bars. I watched girls climb up on stage and stick ludes in the guitar plays mouths while they were playing. You guys forget just how crazy our generation was. The drug titles have changed, but we were just as nuts as the kids of today.

Jeff, My whole point was that there wouldn’t be drugs coming across the border if there was no buyers. The only addiction I have is ice tea!

Are you saying that our southern border is wide open because America wants their drugs? Joe Biteme is doing it as service to us?
Sounds like your normal, convoluted logic, to me.

That is NOT the reason our border is wide open,..and you know it.
