I used a system 1 filter for about 10 years and liked that I could inspect it clean and reuse it . My current engine builder prefers a WIX racing filter . His reason is that small particles get in beaded into the reusable filter and you can’t get everything out . I know if I used one again it would be a system 1 and wouldn’t buy a used one because what he explained to me.
