Ya know Ken, anybody that knows me well knows that I'm not a fan of wheelstands. I know that some instances require the front wheels to be off the ground in order to hook the car BUT Welch's car looked like an old '60s Max-Wedge car with nothing but a pinion snubber on it all weekend and he was definitely the class of the field. What's he doing under that car?

I noticed that too? Looks like maybe they are setting it up like a huge hp small radial tire car. Those cars slam the rear end down also? Idk?

Top speed; 185.18 MPH! Welch is making some serious steam. I'm sure his team is stellar but I believe Herb McCandless can help the program because it reminds me of days long ago. He knows more than many of us.

I don't know the exact changes made, but James is right... the car is setup just like the the 275 drag radial cars.
