Default Re: Jeff Anderson - How Is He??

I texted with Jeff yesterday. He said he was feeling better and would be in the hospital for several more days while they did more tests. Hopefully he has no long term side effects from the episode.
Thanks to some close friends and the paramedics he is alive today.

Good news. Maybe NHRA should begin holding CPR classes on Thursday for those that wish to learn it. Every second counts and with all the racers in the pits it may make a difference for someone one day.

Hoping for a fast healthy recovery. Didn't see it on the news like we did with the football player. Drag racers dont matter or what?

Jeff was our neighbor in the pits so I got to see first hand an incredible effort by the EMT's, the Safety Safari, various members of NHRA Division 2, and many others. I can tell you that he survived this because of the training, quick response and professional actions that took place. I would like to give a special recognition to Kaitlyn McCullars who works the staging lanes when she's not saving lives - she was awesome. She was on the scene in minutes, immediately took control of the situation and administered CPR.
