John's stamina and driving are amazing at his age. He told me about 10 years ago he was retiring, glad he continued on so much longer, and it makes me feel young at almost 68. I went from 1st to 3rd once in my 67 Cuda, just one of the reasons I still have my push buttons in the 63.

Knowing how John hates losing a heads-up more than anything. The next Pomona isn't that far away. Have to say Darcy's car sure does turn the earth when he leaves. Great race to watch!

It's the last week to relax, if that's your thing. I don't seem to have time for it. We are still pondering the new AHFS rules, a few minor changes, and arguments pertaining to performance. I have a new idea for promoting our classes on social media. RIP Woody Pagano.
