Talked to Ed quite a bit on tuning. He was into programming before many of us other guys. Ran into him over at Indy during the US Nationals a few years back. His personally from here on the web matched his real life one. Polite, knowledgeable and a dedicated sportsman until his health and family's took a front seat to his love of anything motorsports. RIP old bud.

Very sad news. I always enjoyed Ed’s posts. He was a good racer and better husband.
Rest In Peace Ed.

Legendary racer. He's taken the time to talk to me on a couple of forums. The perfect Jr. Stocker.

I knew him from this forum, but had the chance to meet him briefly at the Nationals once. Race in Peace, Ed. Godspeed to his friends, family, and racing family.

So sorry to hear that. Ed helped me tune a C5 Corvette that I was going to run in Pure Stock. He was very patient with me as I'm sure I asked dumb questions; never was in too big of a hurry to help. He had forgotten more about FI and tuning than I'll ever know if my lifetime but more importantly, he was willing to share his knowledge and help with anyone who needed it. Ed was genuinely and sincerely a nice guy. RIP
