After the points season, Epping held a big dollar race. Rumor was the Johnny D was coming up from Englishtown. He was already known as one of the best bracket racers around. Johnny D came, Johnny D beat the best that we had, and Johnny D went home with the money!

I also want to say that he has been one of the best spokepersons for drag racing, and Sportsman in particular, that we have ever had.
