John was a very good guy.

I was at Maple Grove when the pipe on my generator muffler fell off. I asked if anyone had a spare, and someone told me to go to John's trailer. John told me to bring the parts and he would reweld them. I couldn't believe it. He knocked it out right there and then.

My sincerest condolences to his family.

Prayers for his family. I always looked forward to his magazines,writings, and e-mails back and forth about various things. I don't know if I met him at Beaver Springs or not, but he lived in a beautiful place. I lost a friend . John Kissel

Sorry to hear. I haven't seen john in many years. Used to race at Island Dragway when he was there, back in the '70's. Stopped for a visit about 2006 in Pa. and once at the Gators. Always gracious, and helpfull.
