Years ago, there was a sports radio talk show in New York. It was called "Mike and the Mad Dog". Huge drivetime audience, largest in the country. It featured ALL of the top sports personalities doing spot appearances. On Sunday morning, Mike would host a football show called "NFL Now". It went on for years. One day, the National Football League said you can`t call it NFL anymore. As I recall, they wouldn`t allow it under any conditions. NHRA`s lawyers might see some potential in sportsman race cars. Who knew?

I have no problem with people making money however they can, it's easy to see you aren't self employed or never have been.

Maybe someone from NHRA should revisit the 501(c) (6) of IRS Code of 1986
Mission Statement I may not have it verbatim but you’ll get the idea. “Promote and advance the common business interest of those engaged in the sport of drag racing and the hot rod industry; to promote safety, sportsmanship and fellowship and exchange of knowledge and information among hot rod enthusiasts...........” |

This bright red Nova flies high off the starting line, similar to its super stock counterparts, and routinely finds itself at the top of the qualifying sheet. What makes it even cooler, it is still sporting a factory bench seat and steering wheel.
PS I never ask for money for driver interviews, I don't have any sponsors, and I travel on my own dime. |

Some folks seem to think that if someone makes a YT video, they are making money off it. Not the case.
Not all YT videos are monetized. It depends on lots of restrictions. You would need to have so many videos, subscribers, and also certain subject matter. Selling items in your videos, using copywrited music samples for instructional purposes. are just some reasons for not being monetized.

Bobby Does a huge Amount of Free advertising for many companies and Racers, including NHRA ..99 % of Bobby's videos are not of a NHRA race The amount of Promoting the race and racers helps the viewers sponsors via Advertising impressions big-time everyone including NHRA and Potentials sponsors should support Bobbys interviews he is the first person to do the Interviews with Stock and Super Stock racers in a through way including the information about the race car. Everyone enjoys them. Every company has millions of videos of their venue and they encourage this free promotion of their company or sport. In fact, if there is anyone wanting to sponsor Bobby's interviews give him a call He is the best for racers and racing in general for sure.

Well that means this page and any facebook group that uses the NHRA name would be gone, Nostalgia pictures, current ones, basically someone is pissed that they post NHRA updates on their page which I have no problem with if I'm not at the event because you sure as hell dont get much sportsman stuff from NHRA on a race weekend. |
