There is big difference between that 2barrel 305 cam and 4bbl 305 cam...
about 20 degrees difference... I'm not saying that cam is the best for a 2bbl 305 but I do know that it is about 20* short on duration for a 4bbl. 305 stocker.. lift with stock rockers and high spring pressure you have to add a little lift to get to spec but that may be a little too much for 357/390 $100.00 is a good deal though for someone it would work for.... give Bullet a call and they will grind you a brand new cam for your car... probably $200-250 range Mike Taylor 3601 |

Many on this site know who I am, not only because my background and knowledge, I have helped many on this forum and done consultation for entities in motorsports without any compensation, because I grew up and love the sport. Since you want to know my name, my name is Joe Elias, you can find me at both National and Divisional events, in Phil Coccuza's pit area and you can see my name painted in both of the Comp Eliminator and Stock Eliminator car. I also want to apologize to Pat6868 for using his space to respond. |
