And let us not forget (whether I like it or not) that he did it in a "real man's" car. Ya don't just go out and bracket race a race hemi. It's gotta be maintained.

Todd is among the hardest working racers out there. He deserves all the opportunities and successes he receives / achieves. He's doing pretty good in the MOPAR being a Pontiac guy! LOL! Good Luck to Joe representin Div 1!

Stock and Super Stock both closed 10 below the quota, when’s the last time that happened in a “normal” World Finals? I’m ready for some real normal. Pulling for Joe, he’s had a heck of a year and hate to see him lose the lead in both classes. Hope he avoids the other nasty AA cars…

No sportsman class made quota. NHRA had better wake up.

Amen to that my friend! Todd you have everything to be proud of and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. We all know how hard you work, and we also all understand the responsibility's that go along with that race program. You have done a hell of a job there. Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA |

We got to hang out with Todd for a while. Great guy, great driver and a well maintained operation. He’ll be back!

The rumor I heard was that Joe was driving Mark Yacavone's old O/SA '59 Impala Convertible that Joe's dad were partners with. Bad to the bone 283!
Now that's a Real Man's Racecar! Last edited by Frank Castros; 11-09-2021 at 02:27 PM. |

If Joe does in fact drive Jimmy's Camaro, that is one bad race car and we all know the Emmons family will have Jerry dialed in. Man, this weekend is going to be way cool.
One more thing, Todd Hoven has my utmost respect for making the call he felt he needed to make and my admiration for the phenomenal season he had driving the outstanding Al Carp Hemi. What a car and driver! Your day will come. |
