I saw the writing on the wall quite a few years back = I love Nevada
at least by comparison. However, It will be a Mini California in the next ten years or less!!

Problem around here is the Californians sell out of their inflated value property and then come over to the Prescott area and drive up the cost of real estate. The locals then can't afford to buy or rent around here.

I'm shopping Prescott / Payson area right now but I'm trying to downsize some. Sorry if we inflate the housing market but the price "looks too good" to us right now especially the property tax rate. I was also looking at Nevada but GTX John is scaring me a little.
