Pete,
It always an adventure one way or another isn't it? I hope you weren't alone. Good luck, you're due for some good fortune. It will come soon. Frank |

Made it home late last night from Boise, hitching a ride with fellow SoCal Stock racer Justin Jerome! The car performed magnificently, going far quicker than it ever has, with a best pass of -1.085 under my index. The drivers performance however was a less impressive display I’m afraid, but all in all progress is being made in my 5 year plan!
When I lost the trucks tranny on the way up, putting out a S.O.S. on our Drag Racer social media proved once again that this community pulls out all stops in taking care of one another. If you detect tremendous pride here, you are spot on! I enjoyed this kind of support from my brothers and sisters throughout my military career and to now land here in retirement makes me realize I’ve been doubly blessed! Thanks to local racer extraordinaire and proprietor of Boise Valley Towing, Dick VanderMeer for coming to my rescue and getting me to the race and taken care of! Also to the racing father & son team of Dan & Brad Todd proprietors of Boise’s Economy Transmission who will replace my transmission with a remanufactured heavy duty unit. Thank you Gentlemen! Also thanks to all of you that responded, my cell phone rang for hours that night from acquaintances and total strangers offering assistance of every variety, you restore my faith in humanity!
