My car is ready, but it is a long tow for a poorly attended race without the open borders.

Last weekend (Memorial day weeknd) I was at the top of VT and many said it looked like the border may open June 22nd. Has there been any more news on that info ? I hope it is true.

We will be in attendance with the Deuce.

Sorry for the bad news Dave, and trust me when I say we wish you could come up and us go down. No borders will open until Canadians are 75% first shot and 25% second shot vaccinated...minimum. Also our East Coast Canadian friends will not be attendance either, due to provincial border restrictions within Canada...its like East and West Berlin up here right now!!! But we will sheep along so as not to offend or question the almighty and all knowing politicians we have empowered!!! Rant over, see you all at Indy! Lol

Problem?...Solution? We have the choice to contribute to one or the other.

NHRA Div1 does their damndest to put on these National Open events, even without US racer participation. Get behind these folks and show them that it’s worth the effort. If Ontario and Quebec were fully supportive, it would still be a great weekend.

Things are still too COVIDy for me to venture that far. When they lift the face diaper restrictions and the social distancing, count me in.
Until then, I'm good at home.

Do not let that hold you back, attended 8 races in maryland and New jersey last year , and it was not that big a deal, Face mask police were only around once in a while, and as long as you stayed 6 ft apart no problems. And 6ft really was arms length. So unless you are a "close talker" quote from Seinfeld, you should have no problems. Support the tracks, they need it

We have been testing since May in Napierreville...NO mask, NO 6 feet, NO vaccination requirements. Place is packed, great track prep, cheap food and hotels/restaurants across the street. To all fellow Canucks that are NOT restricted by inner provincial border closures, come have fun at the National Open in July...but if you need someone to tell you your allowed...best you stay home and sheep away!!!

Sorry again to our friends south of the border...maybe next year...
