The most "cooler" I ever used on a drag car trans was a deep pan that had tubing running through it.

Only thing I ever used (or needed) was an aluminum heat sink style cooler with removable ends so you could clean it out if needed.

That cooler is a waste of money and all the input from others is exactly what we ran in a 9 second 3300 lb super stocker.
