Yes pipe thread. I went with tape and tightened a little more than I wanted to. But this has been a leak prone area and was tired of fighting it. I also used new fittings. No leaks so far...well actually I worked on "liquid" stuff while I watched Dustin fix it! Im getting pretty good at that...
