If you are going to change to a 3 speed you need to be careful which tranny you choose the tunnels in that series Vette is not real big and accommodating to large case trannies.. oops, Transmissions...

I guess I should have said the car was built around a Powerglide, not a turbo 400.
I forgot it is not PC to use Trannie..

I got a Turbo 350 in it now , no issues. It's got an IRS with a Moroso Beute Force posi and chrome moly half shafts with solid ujoints axle retaining loops, chrome moly drive shaft, offset trailing arms. Polyurehane bushings and body mounts. Fiberglass rear spring. I'd need a flat hood, cage, motor, brakes, wheels tires, etc. I'd need to sell the other car first if I go this route. It's more in the investigation faze now. Thanks for all the input so far.

I'm not aware of anyone offering a rearend setup ready to go but there's several people who have done the swap. Jump on in and wrap your *** in glass.
