It's like the 993 casting for the '70's cars. Legal replacement for a lot of cars, for sure.
The 462 is available to use in 1969 as well.

After Lee Shepherd "discovered" these heads, the race was on to find a pair, especially if you raced in the Super Modified classes as well as the Econo dragster/altered classes.
