Canada switched to the Metric system in 1981 and you Yanks are reluctant to accept it even though it's been all around you for years. Think medical system, small valves and pistons in tranny valve bodies, valve stems, or how is your 55 mm cam working for ya?

To date - no country using the metric system has landed a man on the moon.

All current space craft are built on the metric system. Try finding a 12 point 3/8 deep socket on the ISS.
