LVMS still hasn't got approval for spectators at the Finals.

I guess the powers can do anything they want, but how could they justify not allowing a socially distanced, masked, outside event when the casinos are open?

LVMS and several other major NASCAR and NHRA tracks are owned and controlled by Speedway Motorsports which really is the same as saying Bruton Smith and his son.
They have learned that in the world as it is today it is possible to put on a show without spectators and still make money.
Television and Covid 19 restrictions are the key factors.
Casino's and how they operate have almost nothing to do with how they make their decisions. It's all about the show.
NHRA now has a new major sponsor so they are feeling better on their side of the problem.
Stay tuned.

Explain how Casino's go by the Gambling commission but a race track has to follow state guidelines concerning the Chinese virus?

My sources, which have been 100% accurate with cancellations and reschedules have told me the Vegas National will most likely be cancelled and there will not be another event anywhere in its place. We shall see. I’m hoping they are wrong for the first time this season!
