I should be back to Dumbo today. Finding a drive train vibration should be fun. TIR the drive shaft, yoke movement, flexplate check, and the rest.

All I have to do on this thread is thank everyone that helped. That is going to take a while and being the age I am I will forget or not mention some one who has helped. After three years of work I forgot some stuff, please do not be offended.

This weekend we were able to meet our performance goals on an eighth mile.

Thanks to all!

What was the source of the vibration?

It could have been several things. I changed the drive shaft position and decreased TIR by .007, installed new tail shaft bushing, installed new bushing in front drum, and changed converters. I'm not sure what it was but it's gone. The converter in the car now is quicker the the one that was in it so the chances of that converter going back in the car are slim.
The good thing is the vibration is ok.
