Mark, I see your signature and understand where it came from. In my present world, "Popcorn" is a guiding light for....a...a...banjo playing hillbilly music. I'm not a hillbilly (I don't think), but like the sound of banjo picking and a moonshine thumper, and the taste of smooth liquor. I'm sure I'm the only one here. Lol
You all are listing music I am not a part of. Guess I missed more of the 60s and 70s than I thought. I have found that I enjoy music from 1967-8...crazy as it counts, Cowsills and "Rain the Park, and the other thing" is a favorite.

Gary, this stuff was out there in the late 60's , if you knew where to look .
I think you probably listening to AM when you were cruising around in your Road Runner. ;-)

If this one doesn't finish you off, stay tuned for tomorrow!

You guys can now debate who's in SECOND place for best ever R&R drummer ;-)

I don't know about that, but if some of you know Jimmy Roberts (G/Stock)/ he grew cup with the Cowsill boys in Newport, RI ..Knew them well.
John Cowsill is the current drummer for the Beach Boys touring band.

Another new artist from me today. Had this on in the garage yesterday as I'm getting the car back together. I probably have every album this guy ever produced. His lyrics were so impressive, especially with so many bands at the time being downright repetitive.

Mark, you are correct and I still have that 69 Roadrunner, the AM radio, and the single in dash speaker.

Part 2 of yesterday's post.
The Rolling Stones Circus was a music movie from late 1968 ..You'll see who the guests were on the video cover. The performances seem to come and go on Youtube .This one only has the audio available at this time, but I wanted to use it ,because of the nod to Jesse Ed Davis in the break. For those classic rock only listeners who never heard of Jesse, here's a link for you:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Ed_Davis

The second track...well. let's just say it's NOT The Cowsills

I forgot to comment on The Dirty Mac..One can only guess why Lennon used that name..
